My son was born 5-1/2 weeks early; they told me he was going to be behind in his developmental and motor skills. He is now 11-months old and has hit every developmental and motor skill there is so far. There is one that has concerned me; he started to attempt to crawl close to 9 months. He crawls on his stomach, reminds me of the army crawl to be exact. He NEVER gets up on his knees. He tries to pull himself up on the crib and furniture, but still can't seem to grasp that he has to use his knees? When you stand him up, he puts weight on his legs and will bounce up and down, but yet when he attempts to take steps, his legs are wobbly and his feet go inward? Is there any concern that he may have an issue with his legs and bending at the knees? And will he be able to walk with out knowing how to bend, and if his feet point inward, will this mean he will be pigeon toed?

We have a few articles on our website that address your concerns with crawling and walking that I recommend you take a took at:

To be sure your son is progressing typically and is not exhibiting any gross motor delays you may wish to have him evaluated by an early intervention physical therapist. Your local contact info is located here: 219 Black Horse Lane, Suite 1, North Brunswick, 732-821-1199.
