Technical Assistance
Alliance: The Technical Assistance ALLIANCE for Parent Centers (the
ALLIANCE) is an innovative partnership of one national and six regional
parent technical assistance centers, each funded by the U.S. Department of
Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). These seven
projects comprise a unified technical assistance system for the purpose of
developing, assisting, and coordinating the over 100 Parent Training and
Information Centers (PTIs) and Community Parent Resource Centers (CPRCs)
under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. The national and
regional parent technical assistance centers work to strengthen the
connections to the larger OSEP Technical Assistance and Dissemination
Network and fortify partnerships between Parent Centers and education
systems at local, state, and national levels.

Disabilities-R-Us: An
online chat room and support group created by and for people with physical
disabilities (but everyone is welcome). For over 10 years we have been

National Family Caregivers Association:
The National Family Caregivers Association educates supports, empowers and
speaks up for the more than 50 million Americans who care for loved ones
with a chronic illness or disability or the frailties of old age. NFCA
reaches across the boundaries of diagnoses, relationships and life stages to
help transform family caregivers' lives by removing barriers to health and
well being.
Today's Caregiver: Caregiver Media
Group is a leading provider of information, support and guidance for family
and professional caregivers. Founded in 1995, we produce Today's Caregiver
magazine, the first national magazine dedicated to caregivers, the "Sharing

PACER Center: The mission of PACER
Center (Parent Advocacy Coalition for Educational Rights) is to expand
opportunities and enhance the quality of life of children and young adults
with disabilities and their families, based on the concept of
parents helping parents.
Family Caregiver Alliance: Founded in
1977, Family Caregiver Alliance was the first community-based nonprofit
organization in the country to address the needs of families and friends
providing long-term care at home. Long recognized as a pioneer in health
services, FCA now offers programs at national, state and local levels to
support and sustain caregivers.
Kids Together: The Goals of
Kids Together, Inc. include a desire to remove barriers that exclude people
with disabilities. We support the belief that children with disabilities,
like all children, have the need to be welcomed, cherished and embraced in
